I grew up at every kind of Filipino gathering.
My lola always said the photos were the only proof that any of it actually happened. She was right. I picked up a camera at 16 and never really put it down.
I am J.R. Santos, born in Cavite, raised in Georgia, and based in Atlanta. I specialize in the kind of events that matter most to Filipino families: weddings, debuts, baptisms, reunions, and the in-between moments that nobody thinks to photograph but everyone ends up missing.
My approach is low-pressure and candid-first. You will not feel like you are doing a photoshoot. You will just feel like someone was there, paying attention. That is the whole idea.
I serve clients across metro Atlanta, Marietta, Duluth, Buford, and anywhere in Georgia I can drive to. Destination events are welcome too.
