Manuscripts by RT Labs

Terms of Service

Plain-language terms — v1

These terms cover the Manuscripts service from Round Table LLC. They are written in plain language on purpose. They restate the guarantees on the main page and add the confidentiality, liability, and data commitments that go with buying a report.

1. What this service is

Manuscripts by RT Labs produces a diagnostic report about a codebase you submit: what its parts appear to do, what works, and where the code has drifted from its intent. It is a point-in-time reading, not a fix, and not a guarantee that your code is complete, secure, bug-free, or fit for any particular purpose. We do not modify or run your code, and we do not provide legal, security-certification, or professional engineering advice.

2. Your right to submit the code

You warrant that you own the code you submit or otherwise have the right to share it with us for this purpose, and that submitting it does not breach anyone else's license, contract, NDA, or other rights. You are responsible for stripping out secrets, credentials, and third-party data before you send anything. If a claim arises because you did not have the right to submit what you submitted, you agree to cover the resulting costs.

3. Accuracy and no warranty

We build every finding on file-and-line evidence and put each report through a human review before it ships, but AI-assisted analysis can still be incomplete or wrong. The report is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that findings are exhaustive. Your accuracy protection is the specific guarantee in Section 6, not an open-ended promise of correctness.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the amount you actually paid us for the report the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we were told they were possible.

5. Confidentiality and data handling

We treat your code and your report as confidential. We do not publish, sell, or share them, except with the service providers needed to deliver your report (see Section 8). Our working copy of your code is deleted after your report is delivered, and we send you a confirmation email when that is done. A mutual NDA is available on request before you send anything.

6. Refund and accuracy guarantee

You can get a full refund at any time before your report is delivered, no questions asked. After delivery you have a 14-day accuracy window: point out any finding that is materially wrong and we will send a corrected report or refund you in full. These are the guarantees stated on the Manuscripts page, restated here as part of these terms.

7. Delivery and access

We aim to deliver within the timeframe shown on the Manuscripts page for your tier. Reports are delivered through a private, signed link that stays valid for one year; if it lapses and you still want the report, we will re-issue the link. We size your tier from the code you submit before any payment is finalized and resolve any tier mismatch with you before scanning.

8. AI and service subprocessors

The scan is performed by AI models from Anthropic (Claude) under Anthropic's commercial data terms, which state that Anthropic does not train on business inputs sent through their API. We also use Supabase to store finished report PDFs behind private, expiring links, and Resend to send delivery and deletion-confirmation emails. These are the third parties your code or report touches in the course of the service.

9. Governing terms

The service is provided by Round Table LLC. These terms, together with the guarantees and descriptions on the Manuscripts page, are the whole agreement for the service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms for future orders; the version in effect when you purchase governs your order.

Questions about these terms before you buy? Email dev@wsbroundtable.com and we will walk you through them.
